PROFILE

A motivated science-focused secondary school student with a strong academic record and hands-on research experience in polymer-based biomedical materials. Particularly interested in Materials Science, Biomedical Engineering, Polymer Engineering and sustainable technologies. Alongside his academic interests, he is a committed basketball player and wildlife photographer, developing discipline, teamwork, creativity and curiosity through these activities.

·   Project: “Production of Hernia Meshes: Preparation of Polyurethane Acrylate by UV Polymerisation and Antimicrobial Coating with Benzalkonium Chloride”

·   Produced porous polyurethane acrylate hernia-mesh prototypes using UV polymerisation.

·   Applied antimicrobial coatings and assessed performance using microbiological culture methods.

UV-Curing Experimental Project

·   Participated in laboratory activities involving UV-curing technologies and materials testing.

SPORT

Basketball

·   Licensed basketball player since the age of eight; plays as a point guard.

·   Achieved three regional championship titles and two runner-up finishes.

·   Has competed in the U11, U12, U14 and U16 age categories.
